Netzer

Netzer South Africa is a Progressive Jewish and Reform Zionist youth movement that focuses on Tikkun Olam and youth empowerment. Affiliated with Temple Israel, we run and plan kids’ programs for most services and run fantastic machanot in the Winter and Summer holidays. 

Many of our congregation’s prominent members are graduates of Netzer, who celebrated their 40th Anniversary in 2019. Netzer caters to channies (students) from grade one to matric and many leadership opportunities thereafter, whether going on a gap year program in Israel or joining the maddie (leadership) body! Netzer is a progressive space for kids to meet and grow with kids much like themselves.
