Micha Danilewitz - Mitzvah Project

I chose for my Batmitzvah Mitzvah to clean a beach. My father, brother and I took our dogs to a beach close to the Pavilion called Gantis with a black plastic rubbish bag each. Lo and behold we soon realised that the 3 bags would not be nearly enough. The beach was riddled with litter, razors, plastic cups, all sorts of papers , plastic bags with dog poop, poop without plastic bags and on and on it went. I soon realised that we could be there for a week and still we would not be able to make a dent. We left after a long while feeling good about the effort we made and determined that this effort would not be in isolation.
